Thanks to Mark and Phyllis for dinner!!! Dinner was served in a railcar with great views of the mountains! Food was great and the company was exceptional!!!! Five stars!!!

CHURCHES,CHURCHES,CHURCHES

San Miguel Church, Loretto Chapel and The Basilica of St. Francis. The churches were so inspiring Cate decided to go to confession. Unfortunatrely no priest was available so Jeralyn was kind enough to give her absolution!!!

While Her Vacation Sisters Suffered, Cate...

I was thoroughly enjoying the view from Mark and Phyllis' patio and having a large glass of wine. I did wonder why they were taking so long to arrive and meet me. When we got the call about thier unfortunate plight, I thought poor dears! If only I could give them a glass of cold white wine! I shall pray for them. I shall pray they arrive before all the wine is gone.

Thank God For AAA and Mark!

AAA gets paid to pick up stranded cars but our friend Mark voluntarily drove out to pick up 4 hot (not the good kind of hot, the sweaty kind), irritated women and their 500 pounds of luggage. We (Mark, that is) waited with great patience and composure for the tow truck. We got rather thirsty. For a cold drink. With alcohol.

We Almost Made It!

40 miles from Santa Fe, we thought some guys were trying to pick us up (lucky day, lucky day!) but turns out our car was on fire. Here we document our misfortune and the guardian angels who came to our rescue. But if the car had not been on fire they would have tried to pick us up FOR SURE.
